Secunda Canada LP considers health, safety and the environment to be of the utmost importance and with this in mind management is committed to provide a working atmosphere where the health and safety of employees and protection of the environment takes precedence in all of the company's business. To meet this commitment, Secunda Canada will;

  • Ensure that during operations the safety of all personnel will take priority over all other operations.
  • Strive to protect the environment by working to minimize the impact of its operational activities and to achieve a high standard in environmental performance.
  • Employ competent personnel who are able to implement safety and environmental protection policies.
  • Maintain training standards to ensure employees receive training in health, safety and environmental practices.
  • Increase the awareness of all employees in effectively preventing unnecessary injuries, damage to health and the environment .
  • Develop emergency plans and procedures to respond effectively to accidents and incidents.
  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations and standards and strive to exceed the requirements.

The above objectives are realized through the development of a work culture that promotes initiative and responsibility. This is achieved with ongoing training, and with the implementation and continuous improvement of the HSEQ Management System. Secunda Canada utilizes a systematic and consistent approach to Risk Management to ensure hazards are identified, mitigated, and that work is conducted safety.

All activities critical to the quality of service delivered at Secunda are controlled, inspected and tested in accordance with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 standards. Secunda Canada is proud to hold ISO certification.
